Dr Kumar Dushyant
Dr Kumar Dushyant is currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in Anaesthesia at Max Superspecialty Hospital, New Delhi. He has worked as a visiting Medical Officer for Sankalp Jyoti (the NGO works in the area of Advocacy and Research, Children, Disability, Health & Nutrition, Development & Poverty Alleviation, Vocational Training, Women’s Development & Empowerment as well as sustainable development). In his role he reached out to thousands of people in far-flung rural pockets of Jharkhand in need of immediate medical attention. He was also working as a medical officer in the Intensive Care Unit of Santevita Hospital, in Ranchi. He strongly advocates early adoption of intelligent lifestyle choices for minimal medical intervention. He has written extensively for publications and believes in the weight of the occam’s razor (occam’s razor: a scientific and philosophic rule that entities should not be multiplied unnecessarily; i.e. simplest of competing theories are preferred to more complex/ explanations of unknown phenomenon be sought first in terms of known quantities).
